Easy and Delicious Green Smoothie Recipe!

 

Green smoothies are power packed with nutrition, and may contribute to detox and weight loss!

One thing I have learned from all of the years of eating a healthy diet is that getting enough greens daily is very important!

Leafy greens are full of minerals and important nutrients. Plus, they are alkalizing and detoxifying to the body. 

A very tasty and easy way to include lots of green leafy vegetables in your diet is by way of smoothie!

This recipe is enough for one mason jar full of smoothie, about 3 cups! Billy has been enjoying this recipe almost every day for a few weeks now!

Green Smoothie Recipe

You will need these ingredients:

  • about 1 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1 ripe banana
  • a few dates or natural sweetener (optional)
  • 3 cups of greens
  • 16 ounces of water (more of less to suit your needs)

Put the banana, pineapple, dates and water in your favorite blender. Add greens one handful at a time, pushing down to pack in the full amount. Once everything is safely packed in, secure top and blend until creamy. Enjoy!
